I rented it a few times. It was a good and interesting little puzzle game. There was also a Sega Genesis version, which is what I played it on.

I played it on the sega channel & own it for my atari jaguar, but I never played the SNES version. It's a fairly fun game, though I clearly wasn't overimpressed with it since I can't recall playing it more than a few times. *shrug*

It had potential, but I only had 3 games for it; zoop, zool, and tempest 2k. Zoop really doesn't look nor play any better on the jaguar than on sega or SNES, hell the graphics on zoop are so basic that they'd look pretty much the same even on NES or gameboy, even the 2600 would be able to pull it off well enough. Tempest 2k doesn't do much with the jaguar's power either, nor do I like it's gameplay much. That just leaves me with zool. Zool looks great & it's a fun game, but it's just a platformer, nothing special about it.
With all that in mind, I was decidedly less than impressed with the jaguar.

I think it's quite a fun game. The controls are simple, just move the triangle cursor with the directional pad and any of the action buttons to "zoop" the colored shapes coming at you, and you only had to eliminate the shapes in the corresponding color as your cursor. You could also change the cursor color by zooping a shape of a different color. The game's music was actually the best part of it IMHO. In fact, I did a Bandicam recording (notice the watermark identifying the URL to the Bandicam website at the top of the screen is the reason I have the unregistered version) of myself playing it on ZSNES. Here it is:
