The only way I would play a new TMNT is if they make it like the original comic. Violent and dark. Hell make the game black and white like the comic too along the lines of Mad World. The only thing that should be in color are the turtles bandanas everything else be in black and white, and have Casey Jones.

    This will never happen tho.

I agree it should be like the original movie and the comics.

The original movie and the original comics are as alike as The Thing (1982) and The Thing From Another World (1952).

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they did it like the first two movies, to me that was the perfect amalgam of the turtles. I mean you had the darker themes, plots and characters, yet you had just a tiny bit of that Saturday Morning camp.

I'd love to see a game like that, something dark and gritty, but at the same time something that isn't afraid to make us laugh every now and then, kind of like how they did the Ghostbusters video game.

Last I heard, Rocksteady denied they are working on the project and Activision is in control of the license. My guess is they will tie it into the cartoon coming out this fall.

I REALLY HATE the looks of the the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon coming this Fall.
As if it wasn't bad enough that Nickelodeon are doing it, the changes made to the green teens... UGH!
Nickelodeon are gonna blow a serious dent in one of the best franchises ever.
That Nickelodeon made TMNT cartoon is gonna be so bad, it'll make Filmation's Ghostbusters look like The Real Ghostbusters!

If Nickelodeon's TMNT toon were to spawn a video game adaptation, that video game adaptation it'd get might as well be a CD-i exclusive made by LJN!

I'm not a big fan of Activision, but they seem to do licenses pretty well. I've played and enjoyed many of the X-men titles and I hear the Transformer games are better than the recent movies.
