Over the last few weeks I've ordered several used Playstation 2 games on GameStop's website and when I got them, most of them were not in their original cases. The cases didn't have the original inserts with the game's artwork and description and also no booklets. Why is that??? It's like buying a record or (music) CD and getting ONLY the record, without the artwork and other "extras" that originally came with it.
How and where can I buy used games and get everything that originally came with them when they were new??? Thanks.

Well, for me, it's kind of hit and miss. Sometimes you get a complete used game, booklets and all, and sometimes you don't even get the original case and it comes in a generic jewel case.

Best bet I think is to buy ones that are gently used maybe? Or ones that have never been opened, since PS2 games are cheap now a days, new or not.

That's an inherent risk you're taking buying used games. If you're not sure with GameStop, you should buy from places like eBay or Amazon where the seller makes it abundantly clear what you're getting.

If you can't buy in person, another good website is glyde.com. They are explicit in defining and enforcing the listed condition of games.

Go to the GameStop stores, pawn shops, goodwill, salvation army, value village.

The GameStop stores near me, at least the one I normally go to, no longer sells used PS2 games. There is this one used record/CD shop not far from me that also sells used video games and DVD's, but I haven't checked them out yet.
