    		 I have been on a real arcade racing game kick lately. Thing is I only really have two, Crusin' USA and Burnout 3 Takedown for Xbox. I have been playing Burnout 3 the most and I always enjoyed the "Crash" mode which reading a few reviews on gamefaqs that mode is not so much in the later Burnouts. So along with Takedown whats another good game in the Burnout series?

    Need for Speed is the only other big arcade racing game I can think of, I maybe played NFS back in the day once. I was thinking about getting NFS 3 Hot Pursuit for PSone but thought I would hear some other recommendations.

    These recommendations can be for this gen and the last two gens of consoles. Also feel free to suggest any other arcade racers.

        		 Good suggestion. Forgot about that one. I have heard that the Dreamcast version of Hydro Thunder is really good.

              		 I've always been a fan of Sega's Outrun. I also like Hard Drivin'/Race Drivin', which show instant replays of your crashes. The only thing with Hard/Race Drivin' is that you can lose control of the car very easy.

                		 My favorite arcade racer has been "Split/Second" that came out in 2010 for the 360/PS3. That is one bad-ass game that rewards destruction and ramming off the road.

                  		 Midnight club was ok if I remember correctly.

                  One of my favorite racing games ever is the ps2 classic, Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero. Its the one where you go behind other racers and flash your lights to race them. Lots of good customization too.

                    That game was great, I remember playing it at my brother in laws when they first got the PS2.

                    One of my favorite racing games is San Francisco Rush for the N64, followed by Need for Speed Underground.

                        Nice. I forgot about rush, those were awesome games. remember rush 2049 where your car can glide with those wings that pop out the side? Rush was the best arcade style racer, lots of fun to play.

                          		 Wipeout is another great racing game. It is a futuristic racing game where the cars resemble spaceships and hover above the track (no wheels). I have Wipeout for PS2, PS3 and PSP.

                            		 I am going to try and check out San Francisco Rush 2049. I always thought it looked like a fun game just never got around to playing it.

                                		 Harley Davidson Motorcycles came out with an arcade game. It's not really a racing game. It's a game where you're supposed to beat the clock or something like that.
