Does anyone else hate shooting on most games? I recently started Uncharted 3 and have the hardest time aiming the gun. I can never get a steady accurate shot. I've noticed on several other games I can't stand shooting because the aiming sucks. To the best of my memory ther game that had the best aiming that I played was Goldeneye on the N64... I liked how it had auto aim and made it easier to shoot.

I have more trouble aiming on PC for some reason. I'm pretty accurate on most console shooters. Except Half-Life 2, I find the controls for that game to be very clunky. I recently beat Uncharted 3 and had no trouble at all with the aiming. Goldeneye pretty much aimed for you. I know in Uncharted 2, if you put it on very easy, it has aim assist so when you press the aim button, it will automatically be on an enemy but it doesn't lock on.

I try to avoid using guns as much as possible, prefering Melee weapons over them, for that exact reason. If I need to kill enemies quickly, I rather just swing a sword/staff/hammer than having to worry about aiming, firing, reloading, what have you.

I like shooting games where you can use target lock-on. It makes the shooting easier.

And remember: It pays to take cover when being shot at.

Agreed! In Uncharted, I often found myself running into the heat of battle and just punching everyone to death.

I don't like when the aiming is too sensitive but You can usually adjust that in the options. I hate inverted look, I don't know how people can play like that.

If you play for long enough, you'll always get screwed over at least once by making a slight aiming error. But that's just being human.
