Schindler's List. That movie has really opened my eyes. It helped me understand the horrors of the Holocaust.

A recent documentary Fat Head. I dropped fifty pounds after watching it. Its basically a documentary where the guy proves Spurlock's Supersize Me was over the top. This guy eats McDonalds everyday for a month and loses weight. The movie deals a lot with carbs and such...

I have never had a movie be anything more than mere entertainment.

Yeah, I'm really struggling to think of ones that impacted me for longer than the end credits rolling. Granted, entertainment in general has had a huge impact on my life. I'm a pop culture junkie. Explains why I've been hanging out here for almost 7 years.

the only 2 that stand out. Rad (which i didn't see until like 1993) and the mighty ducks. all i did from like 1992 to early 1997 was play street hockey and ride BMX.

you know what. add the sandlot to the list. it caused a lot of street baseball to get played, and i may have taken the "hero's get remembered, but legends never die" line a little to literal at a few points in my life, even to this day.

La Haine - This was one of the first films that truly hit me hard in the sense that it made me truly appreciate the beauty of cinema.

Donnie Darko - One of the greatest films of all time even going to get the 28:06:42:12 tattoo'd on me somewhere just haven't deiced where yet.

Requiem for a Dream - This past year I have been experimenting with drugs after watching this film my whole attitude towards them changed.

Yes Man - Know it's a strange film to put of this list but it made me realize that sometimes you gotta take on life full speed and sometimes you just gotta say yes.

Life is Beautiful--I loved how the father turn the horrors of the Concentration Camp into a fun game for his son.

I'm sure I could think of several films that greatly impacted me if I took a few minutes to really think about it. But Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind immediately jumps to my mind. It hit me on a real deep, visceral level that I can't even begin to explain. It really helped me to appreciate and embrace my life experiences, both good and bad.

Kaufman and Gondry, what a great pairing.
