If memory serves me correct, mines was April 24 1989, my birthday. My mom bought me an NES and left it at my grandmas house in the backroom. It was supposed to be a surprise for me, but my curioisty kept trying to sneak into the room to see why it was off limits. Well my grandmother went outside so i took the opprounity to have a looksie. Sure enough there was the box standing up straight nin the middle of the room. Of course I had to act surprised when my mom got home that afternoon. Needless to say my uncle and I spent the next 2 hours playing Mario Bros (it was the special editiong cartidge that had Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Track and Field). I had the hardest time making the first jump on level 1 but had a blast. From that moment on I knew video games would always be a part of my life. SO do you guys remember your first video game experience?

Nope, I've been gaming since literally before I can remember. I know that I played some arcade games (most likely at the laundromat) when I was around 4 or 5, and am reasonably certain I had played them long before then. I got my first home system when I was 7 (a 2600 knockoff).

I was around two to three years old when I saw my first video game experience. I remember sitting on a red beanbag chair wearing a white dress and I was watching my older brother play Super Mario Bros. 3 on the original NES. Now I think about it I also remember that I wanted to play Super Mario Bros. 3 really bad...maybe that's why I'm a huge Mario fan to this day lol.

I know my first experience was with an NES, but I'm not exactly sure what my first NES game was though. I'm pretty sure it was one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games.

It was in late 1987 or early 1988. My cousin got an NES with Super Mario Bros/Duckhunt, and I played it over at his house when my family was there visiting. He had it hooked up on the TV down in their basement rec room, and he took me down there to play it. I watched him play Super Mario Bros. for a little while, and then I played it...and I don't think I was even able to beat level 1-1 (but I was only 4 after all).

My very first video game experience was way back in late 1977 or very early 1978 when my next door neighbor got one of those Coleco Telstar Arcades. The console was triangular in shape, as was the cartridge that mounted on top. Each side of the console had controls for different games, including a steering wheel and gear shift, light gun and knobs.
My first video game experience in an arcade was in 1982 when I played Pac-Man for the first time!

Nope. I was only two years old. Like Drahken, gaming since literally before I can remember. But my parents have told me about it a few times. I played Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man and apparently I was really into it. Probably in the entryway to a diner. Or it could have been a fancy restaurant; this was around when they were new games and they were everywhere.

First thing I remember is I only liked pinball games. I think I didn't understand video games. Until one day during a vacation at the beach, I found a dollar floating in the water. I took it to the campground office. They didn't have a pinball so I spent my dollar on the only game they had which was Galaga, I liked it.
