After reading this list, I thought we could list which game disappointed us the most and which one we liked best.

Best: Batman: Arkham City. We had so many good games, but this was the one I looked forward to the most.

Disappointment: Sniper: Ghost Warrior. I honestly thought it would be a really big and awesome, but it wasn't.

Best: Skyrim, hands down. Probably the best game of the past 10 years.

Most Disappointing: Duke Nukem Forever. Had it preordered, read the reviews, never picked it up.

Best: Batman: Arkham City. Took a lot of what I liked about the first game but amped it up to 11 in this with a fairly big open world and improved combat. The story was good enough and the side missions were great as was the added Catwoman gameplay. But one of the best parts of the game was just going around the city as Batman then swooping down and kicking the shit out of bad guys. Gave a pretty badass feel to the game.

Disappointment: Uncharted 3... Not a bad game by any stretch, in fact I'd even say it's great but after Uncharted 2 I expcected much more. The story didn't seem to flow as well and the character development wasn't as good. We got a little of Drake's history but tons of unanswered questions remained that way through the game. The gunplay also felt a bit off though I give Naughty Dog points for just putting out a patch to fix that issue showing they care about their fans. That should make the game a little more fun but it still didn't hit GOTY standards for me and those are the expectations I had going into based on what I played in Uncharted 2 and all the 10s that 3 was getting.

Best: For me, it's a tie. It goes without saying that Skyrim is an excellent game that's going to keep me hooked for a long time. But in addition to this one, I also really enjoyed Sonic Generations. The main thing about this game is how much it surprised me. It's great to see Sonic (finally) head back to his roots and get a great game.

Disappointment: Arkham City. I honestly can't explain why I didn't love this game. I was a huge fan of Arkham Asylum, but I just couldn't get into Arkham City.
