Half of them don't buy new things. They still have the original NES, or they use emulators, or they have kids and stuff and no time to play games any more, or they got xbox/ps3. Nintendo should make systems for both, which is what I thought they were doing at first. But the VC store is kind of dismal. So is the wiiware. I've only looked a couple times recently, do they take games out of it after a while? Also 3D Mario sux!
They should make systems for new customers and make (some)(more) games for old customers.
