A brilliant Sci-fi horror masterpiece from John Carpenter and one of my all time faves! this one is sort of a remake of the 1951 movie The Thing from Another World but a more faithful readaptation of the novella "Who Goes There" by John Campbell.

It looks fantastic in high def and crisp like it was yesterday but new. I should say it's still scary and shocking to this day yet manages to entertain and makes the audience want for more.

I can't wait for the upcoming prequel this friday and when i go to Universal/Disneyworld next friday for 6 days to Orlando to check out HorrorNight's at Universal where they have horror mazes especially one based on The Thing both prequel and 1982 movie.
"Nobody wants to see vampire killers or vampires either! apparently all they want are demented madmen running around in ski-masks hacking up young virgins"-Peter Vincent from Fright Night.
