Looks like the game might surpass the first masterpiece which happens to be the greatest superhero game of all time.

I'm getting it this tuesday and so might be every Bat fan.

On metacritic it's averaging a 95 after 29 reviews on Xbox 360 and 98 after 11 reviews on PS3. I can't wait for the game either, I'll be at the midnight opening to pick it up. Arkham Asylum was one of my favorite games in 2009 and I expect this one to be even better from all the reviews and videos I've seen of it. Can't wait to see how it compares to inFamous 2 which right now is favorite 'superhero' game of all time.

A.C. does the unthinkable of making A.A. a mediocre Batman game.

The environment is highly detailed and vast and has that dark Tim Burton feeling of the original movie. Adding to the environment is how the game is set in the winter. You can easily get lost in the city.

The character list has improved and we again have some carry overs from the first as well as new faces who might even surprise the most die-hard Batman fan.

Catwoman. Incredible. Fast, stealth-like, deadly with her whip, etc..,

I was actually hyping this as a darkhorse candidate for GOTY when 2011 began but I'm still stunned by what Rocksteady did with this game. I would've been happy with something close to Asylum but what they've given us is much, much more. Great open world with tons of fun and interesting side missions, some great Catwoman gameplay to mix things up and just going around the city as Batman beating the crap out of criminals leaves the ultimate badass feeling. This is the Batman videogame experience I've always wanted. It's the definitive superhero game and I'd say one of the best games I've ever played. I'll be interested to see if Rocksteady can top itself with its next effort whether it's another Batman or something else entirely.

I made it a point not to read much about this game, other then the general plot, before it launched and yes, Rocksteady did one hell of a job.

One thing that shocked me was when I entered the subway system and shortly there after ran into an unexpected, yet pleasantly surprisingly old school boss who seems to be a bit under appreciated. I wont mention his name but he seems to be more associated with The Flash or the JLA instead of Batman. That's not to say Batman has encountered this beast before.

I have a questions guys, I bought it the other day (havent opened it yet cause Im taking my ps3 to get fixed this week), but Ive been reading about RObin and Catwoman missions being available soon, is that a different edition of the game or will I be able to get them on the version I have now?

I was really hoping to play as them but I bought it from Target and they didnt offer any codes. Should I return it and get it later?

The Catwoman missions are available right now. There should be a code in your game for it. Robin and Nightwing have DLC coming. Nightwing is November 1 and Robin is November 22.

Post the DLC code(s) online? The code you receive along with the disc is one use only so unless someone is giving away their code for free, you won't see any codes.

I want this game soo bad but I have such a large backlog of games to play and so little money, I decided to only buy one game between Summer and Christmas. I'd be crazy to make that game be anything other than SKYRIM! I'll get Batman for Christmas maybe.

What a great game this is, just as unique as the original and surpasses the first game.

Who wants another sequel? one that has Mad Hatter, Professor Milo (remember the Moe Howard lookalike?) and others?

The Mad Hatter was in this one. I'm thinking it will have to deal with The Order of St. Dumas and Harley being pregnant.

I started playing it a few days ago and it is awesome but I'm a little confused. I'm looking for freeze'S hideout but I also have the three side missons going on. Looking for deadshot, looking for riddler and tracking zaszs phone calls. Should I have waited to do these or will it all play out the same ?

You can complete the side missions when the main story is beaten. Thats what I'm working on now.

I played it for the first time yesterday. It's pretty good, alot more to it than just simply free roaming and fighting. I like how they incorporate the fact that Batman is the worlds greatest detective and give You lots of detective skills in the game. I think I'm most impressed with the story, it really feels like You're watching an actual show or movie.

The one thing I wish this game had, the option to replay the cut scenes after you beat the game.

Yeah that would be great. the cut scenes rule in this game.

Ok so Mad Hatter is already in the game but how about Man-Bat, Professor Milo etc.?
