one place I remember going to several times in Elementary school is a place called Port Royal. It's a 17th century settlement here in Nova Scotia.

The class is Pain 101. Your instructor is Casey Jones.

we also used to go to Atlantic Playland. It's a bit of a hole in the ground but it still offers a good day of fun.

Guggenheim, Metropolitan, Museum of Natural History, an apple orchard/maple syrup distillery, nature center/arboretum, the beach, an athletics camp (on the hottest day of the year! ugh!) , went to Quebec for French class, famous/historical mansions, circus museum, went to the theater often... I also went to a bunch of places while traveling for band. For example, we performed at Disney World.

In grade school, we went to The Perry's Ice Cream factory, Six Flags Darien Lake, MarineLand, and pre 9/11 NYC (Where I went into the towers). In high school, we went to the art museum (bc it was recommended as an art major to go there) and to a couple of restaurants for lunch. I liked them a lot, but I had better field trips as a part of my church's day summer camp, a girl scout and my dad's work as a youth counselor, where I went to places like the mall, ice skating, LaserTron, go-karting, African Lion Safari and the Toronto Metropolition Zoo.

The museum many times once was to see a bat exhibit and another was a bug exhibit to our space and science center back when it was called that here in Edmonton, Alberta. Fort Edmonton, the Ukrainian village I remember going to a farm in kindergarten we went to IGA and then to Taco Bell.

In elementary and early middle school, we took trips to small museums and art galleries. I live in New York, so when I was with the Student Council in 5th grade, we took a several night trip to Albany. What was interesting about that was that my parents surprised me the day after I returned with a trip to Walt Disney World. My later school years bought trips to Manhattan and a dual musuem tour and college visit. That visit was in 11th grade, and I started thinking ahead to college immediately. If only I knew what was in store...

Our class in 4th grade went on a weekend camping trip to Huntsville which is between Houston and Dallas. Not really a field trip per say, but it was fun.

In 7th grade also at private school we took a trip to Austin, the capital of TX from Houston. We rented a charter bus with a toilet on board. We left at 6 am and didn't get back till after 9 pm. We visited the state capital and got to see a lot of historical stuff about Texas. Our class had 5th, 6th and 7th graders. The teacher brought just the 7th graders the year before and they took a plane. This time the whole class got to go by bus.

                                          Some other trips
                                          Zoo 1st grade
                                          Space Center 2nd grade
                                          Art museum 3rd grade
                                          Science museum 6th grade

                                          Don't remember the rest.
