    Horrifying, hard to stomach and dazzling French supernatural horror shocker about a girl who goes through many weird hallucinations and all that as she gets kidnapped, tortured and martyred to the brink of madness.

    Definitely not a pleasant film as there's gory violence, some torture and that sort of thing but it's also an art film in the Bergman tradition with a bit of Salo, Men Behind The Sun, Ilsa She-Wolf of the SS, and Cannibal Ferox that does have a bizarre meaning to it.
