                              		 blasto. i don't know what it is that makes the game so damn great. sure you can strafe but there's so much frustrating platforming that it's meaningless. that and there's so much shit going on around you. might write an article/review on it sometime

                                      It was some crazy shit. I still have it. To be fair Phil Hartman's voice acting is just hilarious enough to make it playable.

                                      In fact Blasto himself seems like a prototype of Zapp Brannigan

                                        a couple of people who commented on a playthrough of it said that he seemed to have a resemblance to zapp. i mean the game is okay at some points, i just wish that a majority of the platforms that you're on wouldn't be so narrow as to avoid enemy fire. i forgot to mention that near the end you can really fuck up if you don't know what you're doing. if you're playing blasto for the first time, you're not gonna know that when you're in the spire maze that you're not supposed to go to bosc's fortress first thing. it's not a thing where you can just go back either, because you have to jump down from a cliff to make it to the fortress, and there's no way back. so learning that i had to go to a different exit of the spire maze, i ended up having to start the game, all over, because i saved at the fortress once i made it there
