Killer instinct was cool. I always preferred street fighter and mortalkombat more. This game was cool when it came out though.

Jager was so cheap. The controls made MK seem simple lol.

loved the game and even owned 1 for awhile. i was the only 1 who played it so i decided to sell it off to make room for other games that would get more play time.

                I love KI 1 + 2

If I ever get the urge to play I turn on the old modded Xbox and play the arcade roms

I loved killer instinct but thought the arcade version was better than the snes version. Glacius was my favorite character. I loved the combo system. Probably my favorite fighting game until Super smash bros came out.
I love collecting junk. Right now I am collecting kre-o and retro smurf toys. Collecting is an addiction.

I was a big KI head. I was playing it, while everyone is was on MK. I really wish someone would make a MK vs KI crossover title. Both are bloody and the KI combo system would look sick on MK characters. When I did frequent the arcades, the KI machine was always my first stop.

Dude, an Mk vs KI crossover would be badass. They're both ultra violent and I think their gameplay styles would blend together nicely.

To be honest, I never played the arcade version of Killer Instinct, I played the game on the Super NES. Rare Limited did do an awesome job on the graphics, and really knew how to bring in a hardcore fighter for the arcade and Super NES.

I've had this game for the SNES and the Game Boy. And they were both Christmas gifts.

I cracked out on the KI arcade as a kid in the mall. It's the driving force behind my current MAME project. And, since I love MK as much as I love SF, I picked this button layout. And the correct buttons will light up the correct colors depending on the game being played.

I hated it on SNES because the arcade was so much more advanced. It was being sold at the time as the new "Ultra64" hardware, even though they called it the N64 instead and didn't even use the KI engine. It still should have gone to the N64, IMHO.
