Is it 1, 2, or 3? From what I've heard people say, the first one is so hard, it takes a miracle to beat! For those of you that got lucky and beat it, I take my hat off to you. I imagine all the Ninja Gaiden game are unbearibly hard to beat. Which one would you say is the hardest?

        Feels like a trick question.
To be honest, there's no exact answer. The Ninja Gaiden trilogy was pretty hardcore in general (as well as an awesome NES game trilogy to boot).

Honestly, I'd have to say 2004's ninja gaiden for the Xbox. That game was so awesome but also extremely hard.

The first one gave me the most problems due to the insane amount of enemies that swarm the screen during the last level. It really does boil down to luck rather than skill when it comes to beating it, because the enemies are just so random and they continually re-spawn and swarm the screen no matter how many times you kill them. Also, the fact that you fly backwards when you take a hit and there are death pits everywhere doesn't help the situation.

Ninja Gaiden 1 and TMNT ensue a good deal of cursing from me and beat-ups by my aunt as a result.

Are You referring to the first teenage mutant ninja turtles on NES? if thats the case then yes, cursing will ensue because that game is just a bitch.

The original Ninja Gaiden for the NES was one of the hardest in my opinion. When you would die you would start at the beginning of the level. There were some really frustrating parts, too. And the last boss was frickin' near impossible to beat.
