...better known as Odd Future (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) (They're a collective split into several smaller groups - Mellowhype, etc.)....eh, they're entertaining - I see them as building upon early Eminem, Early Three 6 (just a little) (Mystic Stylez-Chp. 2), Gravediggaz, Flatlinerz, etc. It's kind of bizarre how their (Odd Future's) new vids get put on the front page of youtube next to Katy Perry - usually rap artists this violent or just plain strange are fairly underground (Sutter Kain, Evil Pimp, Frayser Click, Manson Family etc.)

    Found this article entertaining:

Anyways, I'd listen to these guys over Kanye, Lil Wayne etc. any day - but, 90's / Underground Memphis is always going to be my favorite as far as rap: Triple 6/Old Three 6 Mafia, Tommy Wright the III, Manson Family, Koopsta Knicca, Lord Infamous, J-Green, Lil Loco, DJ Insane etc.

I've been listening to Kreayshawn recently and some of the OFWGKTA guys do cameos on her vids, it's hella weird lol.

      Tyler, the creator's aight.

Yeah, they're ok - the Memphis stuff's always going to be my favorite - especially the pre-Three 6 Mafia stuff, like DJ Paul and Lord Infamous's Serial Killaz, and Come With Me To Hell Parts 1 and 2.

I'm a big OFWKGTA fan. I really like Mellowhype. Left Brain and Hodgy are just two cool dude, you know? Tyler is good, but I like him more as a producer than a rapper. Drunk by Domo Genesis was one of his best he produced.

This is only acceptable if you're from NorCal.

I'd argue that it still isn't.

Mike G. and Domo Genesis along with the Jet Age of Tomorrow fall under the radar, and they're all really good.

Tyler just won Best New Artist tonight on MTV's 2011 VMAs. That's a pretty good accomplishment considering Nirvana and Eminem both got it when they were coming up. He's going to have a LOT of fans now, but the kid got Best Artist because of his fans.
