I must say that as great as mario was back in the days of SMB3 upto SM64, there are huge amount of games that feature him or the sub-characters, even if it is only as cameos. It's not a bad thing, but how much more can they milk it? (I have made huge a list of them that I will post at some point)

    For instance:
    Alleyway (main character)
    Zelda: links awakening (yoshi doll)
Zelda:Ocarina of time (mario paintings in hyrule castle)
    Golf (GBA)
    Tennis (GBA)
    Donkey kong
    DK junior (bad guy!!)
    Pinball (Nes)

    anyone else think of any...

In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. After completing the game for the first time, there's an extra quest. In the stats screen you can see your "video game star" rank: 3rd Link, 2nd Yoshi and 1st Mario.

That reminds me....did anyone notice Sonic's boots in the stats screen?

Out of them all, Super Mario Bros. and Mario Kart 64 were the only two I really enjoyed (along with Mike Tyson's Punch-Out ofcourse). Yeah, Mario is to Nintendo as Sonic is to Sega.

All in all, he was in some 34 games with various appearances in different forms.

Don't forget Mario's Cement Factory! I still got that table-top game somewhere lying around the house... one of the best table-top games they came out with.

If you missed it, it's on the Game & Watch Gallery 4 for Game-Boy Advanced.

Mario makes an apperance (along with Yoshi) as a figurine in "Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes" for Gamecube.

Yes there is Wrecking Crew for NES. You play as Mario and the object of the game is solving puzzles by smashing things. The game itself is very old, propably one of the first games published on NES.

What are you on? Mario wasn't in that game. Where is your proof?
