I played all of those games when they were new. Chrono Trigger was beautiful in its time, the courthouse scene was jaw dropping lol. Its mainly the storyline that sucks me in more than anything.

Definitely Final Fantasy VII. I can't wait to get a computer again so I can play my PC copy again. However until then because I have a Sega I'm currently seeking out a halfway decent RPG for the Genesis. I've heard a lot about the Phantasy Star series and Shining Force but if I had to pick the best one that feels the most like Final Fantasy what would I choose?? FYI, I have Landstalker and Light Crusader and both are good for what they're worth. I wouldn't mind a decent FAQ on either of those games...I know GameFAQs is a good site but I'd love something like a Strategy Guide with screen shots.

The Bioshock series, I mean I really became involved with the plotline and all the mysteries Rapture had to offer. I found myself questioning what happened to the city, who were the people who inhabited it and what dark secrets did the game hold.

Phantasy Star is more like Final Fantasy and Shining Force is more like Final Fantasy Tactics.
