    		 Wii U = purchase, day 1
    I bought my Wii day 1 and never regretted it.

    I own a 360 and a Wii, the 360 takes care of my Call of Duty fix. My Wii is for everything else. Mario Galaxy 2 was killer, one of my favorite games in a few years. NSMBwii was great, not as good as Mario 3 or World, but close. Warioware still has no competition (even with Kinect being out there now). Resident Evil Chronicles games were a fun diversion. R.Evil 4 was the best on Wii. MarioKart is always fun. Super Paper Mario was fantastic. Brawl, Twilight Princess, Donkey Kong. If Wii U can give me the HD equivalent of these + Modern Warefare 3, Grand theft auto and a few other great 3rd party games then I think I will only have a nintendo system for the next gen. We'll see though, it could be an epic failure like my beloved Dreamcast.

      		 I also bought a Wii on day 1. camped outside of the store all night in the freezing cold for 8 hours. I ended up selling my wii like 2 years later because I only played like 3 games on it in that time. RE4, Zelda, and Warioware.

      I then bought another Wii this past Christmas and softmodded it. so now I can play every game off of a hard drive. But even with every game, I still only played a few. I play my 360 and PS3 all the time but I can go months without touching the Wii. I even play My NES, SNES, and Gamecube more.

        Or in Nintendo-related terms, the Virtual Boy.

        Even though I thought the Wii could be an epic commercial success and still is, ahead of the 360 and PS3 in that order, the Wii U could be the next failure like the Virtual Boy was. I always thought the 3DS would fail like the VB, but no, it became a huge success. I just hope the Wii U could be the next Virtual Boy/Dreamcast gaming failure.

          Me too, then they can make a more traditional console. Speaking of Dreamcast, it was a failure but it's still one of the best systems ever made. probably better than ps1 and ps2 in terms of power, the graphics on that thing are amazing.

              Not only the graphics but almost every game that game out on the system was a new fresh idea.
              I love collecting the die cast cars 2 toys and retro stuff.
