One game I played that's good, is called "Dashin' Desperados." It's a game where you race for the love of a woman. There are a couple of parts where your opponent kidnaps her, and you have to rescue her. I know it doesn't sound like a fun game, but trust me, it is! My best friend told me about this one game called Bubble & Squeak," and said it's a really good game. I was skeptical at first, but I agreed with him after I played it. Anyone here ever heard of that game? If you haven't, you should try it. Don't let the title fool you. What are some Sega Genesis games that are good, but not well known that you've played?

Well, being a Genesis fan of 20 years I could probably tell you about a few of my favorite Genny games that maybe aren't as widely known such as Lightening [sic] Force (Thunder Force IV to those across to pond and in Japan). This game has stunning visuals and a stellar soundtrack and if you love side scrolling shoot-em-up's the gameplay is second to none. With such excellent music and graphics, you almost won't believe you're playing a Genesis game. It might as well be Super R-Type on the SNES. Another game I love that may or may not have gotten all that much fanfare is Virtual Pinball. Again its a visually and aurally beautiful game and as a fairly decent pinball simulator it blows Sonic Spinball out of the water. Both of these games are in my top five along with Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Streets Of Rage 2, and Toejam and Earl.

Superman is pretty good, the only good superman game I have played so far to be honest 8)

Ranger X and cyborg justice are two I have that no one ever seems to mention. As well as Dinosaurs for hire, and I happen to like Garfild Caught in the act.

And don't forget the disney games like gargoyles, castle and world of illusions, etc. They get overshadowed by the NES disney games.

I don't know if this game fits the "not well known" category, but I really liked Altered Beasts.

High Seas Havoc is one of the best games of all time. The character looks like a pirate version of Sonic.

I have an emulator program with every Genesis game on it (Including various hacked versions of Sonic games).

Here's 3 games that I found surprisingly enjoyable:
                              Virtual Bart
                              The Flintstones
                              Wheel of fortune

Also, love playing the old Micro Machines and Road Rash games. Plus.....I obviously have to mention this one.

Fun fact: It's not really Pirate's Gold as in their gold. It's the gold edition of the game, Pirates!

I remember playing the Beavis and Butthead on Sega....Until my mom told me to send it back because it wasn't for me.

I would have to jump back from MTV and Nick when I watched it on tv..thank God for the previous channel button, lol.

Is Landstalker a lesser known one? I think it could be. In anycase, if so I think it's a great and fun genesis game.
