    		 Considering I've only played parts of the original Sonic games and I've only completed Sonic 4 Episode 1 I'm really looking forward to seeing a fresh take on the original gameplay I missed out on.
    Also I prefer Sonic's original design to his more modern one and I hope Sega lets you select him as a character costume for modern sonic in future games (not that it makes a difference in whether or not I'd buy said game it would just be nice).

      		 Sonic Generations has just been announced for 3DS and PC. I'm not sure if it's just a rumor or if it's true but I'm hoping it's true since it is not releasing on Wii.

            I would be hoping for that if not for a Wii/3DS/Cafe release.

              Same here. Like there are few games I would love to play on a PS3, but I still wouldn't spend the money on it. Not much of a fan of the 3DS either for some reason :|
              Aside from that, I did hear that they are not releasing Sonic Genertions for the Nintendo Wii (since I don't own one) D: ,but I was really happy that they are releasing it for the PC.

                  		 I just hope the 3DS version is similar to the PS3 and 360 version of the game and that it isn't dumbed down like Sonic Colors was last year for the DS.

                    It only was because the DS is not as powerful as the Wii.

                      Yeah. That's usually always the case. The handheld version of something from a console being not as good because the console has more capabilities and stuff.

                        		 Well, I just read the NP preview and apparently there will be a bigger character roster in the console versions and the 'modern' sections of the game on 3DS will be based on Sonic Rush type gameplay where as the 360/PS3 versions get 3D based levels. I'll probably end up getting the game for 360 or PS3 and skipping the 3DS one.

                          I'm not sure if the 3DS could handle that type of gameplay but I suppose they wouldn't know unless they tried. Also, I happened to enjoy Sonic Rush/Sonic Rush Adventure. But yes, I'd rather have Sonic Adventure/Sonic 2006 type of 3D gameplay.

                            		 I didn't care for Sonic 2006 at all but I did like Sonic Adventure 1 and the hedgehog sections of Sonic Unleashed were not bad. If the 3D portion of this game plays like those, it could be a great game. Sonic Colors turned out well last year so I think Sega is finally back on the right track with the series.
