blueluigi 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 3365 Account Disabled	http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/04/07/is-sonic-generations-the-next-new-sonic-game.aspx Well, it has just recently been announced that Sega is working on a special 20th anniversary game that has the new Sonic character that you see in the current games team up with the Sonic the Hedgehog character design from the Sega Genesis games. I don't know much about the new game, but so far, Sega has released a teaser trailer to this game, which looks pretty cool so far. ...and yes, I do know that the Sonic fanbase is probably going to find something to nitpick about this game like they did with Sonic 4 Episode 1 and Sonic Colors and use that flaw to say that the game is going to suck. But hey, after seeing how good those two games were, I'm really looking forward to this one and Sonic 4 Episode 2.

Sadly even then it's hardly done right. I mean, green eyes aside you can hardly tell the difference. Or maybe I've just been watching too much AVGN.

WinegumZero 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 719	As a Sonic nerd I'm gonna have to disagree with you there Vkimo. It's pretty easy to tell the difference between the two designs. Don't know how this will turn out though, but yeah my hopes are up considering Sonic Colours was actually really good.

I was wondering if they were going to do anything special for the 20th anniversary, and I have to agree that I am enjoying Sonic Colors and I did like what I played of Sonic 4, Episode I. Stick with the Sonic 4 set up and I'll be happy.

Uh... that's never going to happen dude. These characters aren't even FROM the video games. Just that terrible cartoon show. The only reason why they were used in Sonic Spinball is because it was made by Sega of America and they had the rights to use characters from the cartoon series.

I think when "Knuckles Chaotix" came...the Sonic Franchise went a little awol. It's best to start from scratch, just Sonic, Robotnik, and later the other characters.

hootyhaha 3 years 7 months ago Posts: 65	Didn't they already do this? My roomate back in 2006'ish bought a Greatest Of Sonic game for his Xbox. It had all the games on it including the hand held games which were sort of fun to play if you did not mind huge pixelation on a regular size TV. I can't complain, I was actually hoping that the compilations of different games would get a re-release either on disk or XBLA since Microsoft dropped support for Xbox. I have a few of the Midway Classics, but I don't think they'll play on my 360.
