raph89 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 430 Account Disabled	I haven't played that many Zelda games, but I sure can tell you that one of the hardest ones is Link to the Past. Not only is it really, really, really, really, really, really hard, it's also exhausting because it's got so many levels! When I played it at an old friend's house, I said "Gee, I'm glad I don't own this game." Link's Awakening isn't too bad, but it has it's moments. I've always wondered, is the owl in that game a good guy, or a bad guy? Or do we just never find out for sure? I've aske several people, but none of them could give me a simple straight answer. Does anone here on Retro junk know if he's good or evil? What are the hardest, retro, Zelda games you've ever played?

SuperRainCheck 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 366	Uhh... the owl tells you right before you fight the final boss that he is (spoilers)part of the Wind Fish's spirit and the guardian of the island(spoilers). Like Riphard said, Zelda II is the hardest.

Water Temple is easy as shit if you can remember about the hidden passage under the middle tower. After that, it's straight forward. And I've never had issues with the Shadow Temple.

CartoonKing2 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 73 Account Disabled	A Link To The Past was pretty hard too. And I am one of the millions of Zelda fans who despises that evil, evil, evil, EVIL!!! Water Temple. I was about 10 the first time I actually tried hard to beat Ocarina Of Time, and that darn Water Temple took me weeks to beat. Then one day me and my cousin were trying to beat it, and after a couple hours we did it! Just about a week later I beat the game. And to this day The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time is my favorite game of all time. And I don't just think it's awesome... I KNOW IT'S AWESOME!

wilsted1990 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 79	A Link to the Past is hard because foes cause you a lot of damage and also because of the 11 levels of the game. Majora's Mask has fewer dungeons, but there's this time limit thing that just drives you crazy, especially if you don't play the Inverted Song of Time, which slows time down a little bit. I remember I had to restart some dungeons a lot of times as I hadn't been able to beat them within the time limit. But I think that AltP is the hardest one, as I took a very long time to finish it.

In the light world there's always some pussy ass camping hyrule archers in the grass and they shoot at you. Plus you don't know when they're shooting at you like in real life.

darthmunk 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 3365	I've only played A Link the Past Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask WindWaker Twilight Princess Out of those, I'd say the hardest one is Majora's Mask because I always found myself not knowing what to do or where to go.

copper30 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 788	Majora's Mask is one of the easier zelda games for me. You just need to structure out your whole path on the game and you have nothing to worry about. Play the song of time after doing something important, then repeat. It's a long game though. Ocarina of Time is much harder than most of the zelda games (Except the NES games) due to one thing: The water temple!!

toystoryfreak1995 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 263	I'd have to say Majora's Mask. Mostly because I've played not enough of Zelda II to see it being difficult. I suck at all video games, but I've gotten far in Ocarina of Time. Ocarina of Time is not the hardest.
