          		 I honestly don't remember the first video game I ever beat but I'm guessing that Sonic The Hedgehog 3 was the first video game I ever beat.

            		 "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on the 2600. It was infinitely frustrating, too. Of course this was before the internet, there were no faqs to fall back on, none of my friends owned it, and the game manual was infuriatingly vague. It took me weeks and weeks of trial and error to finally figure out what every item was for, and how/when/where to use it.
