MK2 for sure, then MK1. MK3 was slightly disappointing when it came out. Everything they added made it worse (running, combos) and all the new characters were pretty mediocre. Plus no Johnny Cage... But still no fighting game will ever beat the original MK trilogy. Those were the only good ones in the series so far. Hopefully the new one with it's 2D fighting plain will break the curse of every 3d MK game being shitty.

Wow, I remembered part of that commercial. The beginning parts. Cool. One person in the comments mentioned playing the game in 7-11. I totally forgot that convenient stores used to have game cabinets in them. I know I played stuff like Asteroids and Space Invaders that way when really young.
