That was pretty timid, really. I was expecting (hoping for) something a bit sexier

What amazes me is that anybody would actually want this game.

There's plenty of sex in video games we get, but personally I'm fine with missing out on one that involves physically spanking someone.

I believe We Dare will also be on PS3 and will use PlayStation Move. Just import it if you have a PS3.

Is your philosophy to attack the messenger and not the message?

The commercial is raunchy for a system focused on being family friendly.

Edit: Someone above says the Huffington Post reported on this as well. Will it be attacked or is that only reserved for the conservative side of the fence?

I think the problem here is that the Wii is meant more for children, while consoles like PS3 and The 360 are meant for more adult gamers.

No one ever said that the Wii was supposed to be family friendly. It was just assumed because it was a Nintendo system And that has a long association with being family friendly. The Wii has a handful of Mature games. No More Heroes, Dead Rising, Resident Evil 4, Manhunt 2, Mad World. Those are just the ones off the top of my head. But I forgot, violence is okay. But letting adults have some sexy fun time isn't.

Nintendo's actions have made the Wii into a family system. Look at the library and the mascots of the company. Naturally, Nintendo needs to make a portion of titles appealing to those who want violence, action and the like but those titles do not take away from who this console is focused upon.

To say it isn't family friendly is asinine.

You're still assuming that the system is family friendly based on that. No one has come out and said it was. They're still taking third party games, approving them when they're rated M. Until someone from Nintendo comes out and says the Wii is a family system, its not. Its a game system. Just like the PS3 and the 360 are game systems.

Are you listening to your logic?

If the system wasn't family friendly, why would the vast majority of games be family friendly?

I think he means it's not an apt description. Is a TV family-friendly? You could make arguments for both yes and no. Same with a video game system. I wouldn't call a zombie-killing game family-friendly. Games are used as the consumer sees fit, so you can't really say that the system is either wholly family-friendly or absolutely not family-friendly.

Exactly. If its going to be family friendly, then nothing above EA-10 would be on it.

Your example would be correct if you named a specific television channel and not just a TV.

That's horseshit. A single TV channel is much more likely to specialized than an entire range of video games is.

No. Your example was nonsense (and that's being polite).

The Nintendo Wii is a specific system. Comparing the Wii with television is absurd and foolish. Television is very general.

Alright, here's the thing: the Wii is often referred to as a game system for children and teens because most of it's games are rated E-T

PS3 and the 360 are considered more adult game systems to the amount of games on there that are rated M or a very high T.

Of course the Wii does have some M rated games, but the Wii is more looked at as for children
