darthmunk 3 years 9 months ago Posts: 3365	What is your favorite Pokemon game and why? I have only played Red, Fire Red, and Silver. Fire Red is my favorite of those. But now that I have all Pokemon games on my modded DS, which is the best one to play?

Mezase Master 3 years 9 months ago Posts: 7419	HeartGold and SoulSilver are undoubtedly the best. Only nostalgia fags (such as myself) or retards will say otherwise. But HG&SS offer the prime Pokemon experience.

SSJ Jup81 3 years 9 months ago Posts: 4806	I guess my favorite Pokemon games would be Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Red, Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon TCG, and Pokemon Black. I guess I'll toss in HeartGold too. Red, Yellow, and Stadium is more of a nostalgia thing, personally, and Heartgold to a certain extent too. As for Black, I like the storyline for it and the screwed up antagonist. I also like the game's diversity. Like for one part of the game, you encounter characters speaking German, Portuguese, French (if I'm remembering right), Spanish, and English (of course for the US release, I'm sure this'll be changed lol).

funguy10 3 years 9 months ago Posts: 714	HeartGold & SoulSilver. Emerald was my favorite of the GBA games/Hoenn games. Black & White are also very cool and I'm really liking them. I say they are on par with HeartGold & SoulSilver.

Are you serious? They're all the same thing. They became different when they got to the 3D era. So Platinum, SoulSilver, HeartGold, Black, and White may all be the same.

wilsted1990 3 years 8 months ago Posts: 79	Red was my first PokÃ©mon game. I really liked it, since it was my first RPG experience with all the "pokÃ©s" that I liked from the cartoon. But PokÃ©mon Silver is a more lenghty and funnier experience, mainly because there are 2 worlds to be explored and a lot of side quests (PokÃ©mon breeding, more legendary PokÃ©mon...). I think I spent over 200 hours playing PokÃ©mon Silver and that certainly cost me a huge amount of batteries, but I have no regrets The versions that came out after Gold/Silver were not that cool, however. I bought PokÃ©mon Ruby, but didn't enjoy it quite much. The PokÃ©mon started to look weird and spiritless..... Anyway, my choice is PokÃ©mon Gold/Silver, followed closely by Red/Blue.
