My first video game was probably an arcade machine, don't remember witch one. My first console was Atari 2600, with a shoe box of games that was given to me.

The first game I ever played was IREM Skins Golf for the SNES. That and Super Mario World right after golf. Yes, I love golf games, but only for NES or SNES.

It was either 'Hunt the Wumpus' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAy-uxBZBNQ) or 'Burger Time' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuZeZzlnUrA) for the TI-99/4A (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Instruments_TI-99/4A)

              Donkey Kong
When I die, I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandpa did. Not like the screaming passengers in his car.

Probably something like Sammy Lightfoot, Dino Eggs, Drol, Karateka, or maybe Apple Panic on the Apple II.
Don't pay any attention to the evil spirited and dead of heart. They're not worth your time.

I'm pretty young, but I remember one of the first games I've played was "Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom" on PS2. I have that game somewhere in my room, haven't played it in a long time. I also remember playing "The Simpsons Road Rage" when I was young.

The oldest I remember was most likely Driver 2 back in 2000 or some DOS game.

Some of you are making me feel old. My first game was either Chopper Command or Pitfall on an Atari 2600.

Donkey Kong on Intellivision when I was 5 years old. I had know idea what was going on and thought I was Donkey Kong throwing the barrels rather than Mario jumping over the barrels.

First one I remember playing was Namco Museum on the PS2.
"Stay out of it, totem pole! I’ll hit ya so hard, you’ll grow old bouncing!" "What?" "I’ll smack ya so hard your grandkids’ll have headaches!" "They will not!" "Will too!" "Shut up!"

My first console was an Intellivision, and the first games I can remember playing were Pitfall!, Snafu, and a Masters of the Universe game.

I credit this early start (and my grandpa who enabled me) for my ever-expanding collection of retro game goodness today.

Yeah, I remember the first game I ever played, it was for the NES.
It was the early 90's (I think), I was in my grandma's house, and my 2 uncles, who were kids back then, plugged the NES and began playing.
I was very intrigued by the colorful figures and sprites on the big 1990's TV screen, I wondered how did those moving figures fit into that "giant square" and never got out of it.
I learned that such a thing was called a "video game" or a "Nintendo".
I wanted to play too. And so, I got my wish, one of my uncles passed me the controller and I played my very first video game:
                                          DUCK HUNT.
After knowing that, he obviously passed me the gun, and the gray gun too, not the orange one.
Duck Hunt was the first game I ever played and I still have it.
I'll never forget that day where I was virtually shooting down ducks and when I missed, that laughing dog that has haunted gamers for generations laughed at me.
