I think the very first ARCADE video game I recall playing was I believe Space Invaders in 1980, at a snack bar that opened next door to the sportswear shop where my mom worked at the time. I remember when the snack bar first got the game, my mom was working and when she heard the "explosions" (player's ship being blown up), she thought it was a thunderstorm approaching...until she found out the "thunder" was from the game next door! Obviously, that strip mall wasn't very soundproof!

I believe the first game on a home console was Super Mario Bros. and the first arcade game was Donkey Kong...I think.

The fire truck game? Actually, it's very likely that was my first.

It was probably Frog Bog on Mattel Intellivision when I was 4.

The earliest game I can remember was Star Wars Pod Racers for the Nintendo 64.

Super Mario Bros. on the NES is the first game I can vividly remember playing. But the real answer is probably Pac-Man or Donkey Kong for the Atari, as we had an Atari before NES. But I was so young then I just have vague memories of it.

I think either Super Mario World or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (SNES).
