                		 GH3 was the last semi decent Guitar Hero. 1,2, and 80s were so much better than any of the world tours and the ilk

                  		 It is a surprise they'd be losing money with all the pointless charges they have in World of Warcraft these days, but it does make sense they'd be losing money on each unit since they have to package so many guitars and other instruments, to the point beyond their actual demand - but by selling less, they risk a shortage. Kind of hard to determine really, and probably gets less worth it as people stop buying their shitty sequels.

                    		 Damn shame since it was the series that kickstarted music games. I hope at least Rock Band continues for a while (my wife plays a mean drum),but it's pretty clear that the whole music instrument-based gaming days are coming to a close.

                      		 One of the guys who works at Activision said that the main reason why the franchise was losing money is because the GH games are one of those games where if you have one of the games in the franchise, there's no point in buying any of the other games.

                          That's true, I'm surprised they'd admit to that. Although the same could be said about Mega Man, Street Fighter, Pokemon, Mortal Kombat...
