I have to say that Bonkers was the stupidest things to ever hit TV, a cartoon about a cop who gets paired up with a cartoon, seriously? my sister loved it and i couldn't stand it. Animanaks was also stupid.
Getting down to it, Bonkers is just as crazy as the premise of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I always regarded it as a poor imitation. Takes something out of the premise when the whole thing is animated.

I understand where you are coming from, but if we are talking about things not making sense or being too out there. We would have to say the same about TMNT. I mean we are talking about mutant turtles that walk upright, talk, eat pizza and were taught ninjitsu by a rat... If I could accept that then I could accept human parents that had a chicken and a cow for children.

I think the difference here is that with TMNT the bizarreness of it all was explained. They were genetically mutated so everything that they were was acceptable since the chemical was designed to do what happened to them (or at least I think that was it was designed for). With C&C we still never found out how a cow and a chicken managed to pop out of their human mothers box. But dad didn't care how so whatever XD

Actually it was supposed to be a Roger Rabbit television series but, the producers bailed out I think and it later it evolved into Bonkers.

Any type of celebrity-based cartoon.Like Wish Kid and that Rick Moranis show where he was at the monster themed high school. What were those producers thinking then?

I agree with you. Its animation was so slow and poorly animated,it has
seconds per frame instead frames per second.

Or how about that crappy sports show from the early 90s that stared Bo Jackson and Wayne Gretsky. What was it called?

I don't remember much of the show (I haven't watched it since the 90s), but I love the intro song.

To be fair, the kids didn't run it. They were assistants to Mr. Ernst.

How is that a stupid concept? It was a satire, dealing with minutia of suburban life.

One show that comes to mind is the cartoon, "Free Willy". Willy could actually TALK, and the main villain was a lame half-human/half-cyborg character. It's probably THE stupidest cartoon from the 90's!
