            I agree, they had a few pretty cool music videos but are incredibly overrated. Mr. Airplane Man and The Black Keys are way better at what the stuff the White Stripes tried to do.

                		 They weren't that good, they had a few alright songs, but other than those they weren't anything special.

                  Quit buying into their hype. I've listed WHY they suck. Yet none of their supporters have said why they're any good. How have they changed the music industry, ect.

                    		 They wrote some catchy stuff. The songs of theirs I do like are the lesser known, bluesy stuff. My biggest complaint has always been Meg White. She has the drumming talent of a one armed chimp.

                      That's how you list your reasoning of distaste? That sounds less like a critical evaluation and more like a schoolyard moron spouting off to anybody within earshot.

                      Lets start off with how bad Meg White is at drums; can she keep a beat? Yep. Does she have personality? Yep Is she Neal Peart? Obviously no. Is her style (although flawed) recognizable and complimentary? Yep. Same could be said for Ringo Starr.

                      Jack White plays guitar like a mentally challenged chimpanzee? Doubtful. He almost single handedly made blues-rock and garage fuzz cool again. He's a minimalist (google it because you might not know what that means) and the only reason a band like The Black Keys has made a dent in the public conscience is because of the White Stripes. I'm willing to bet Seven Nation Army has de-throned Smoke on the Water as the first guitar riff in an amateur's repertoire.

                      And how did the trick people into thinking they were good exactly? Clearly a two piece band that dresses like candy canes and plays music that hasn't been popular in 40 years is destined to break big. If you know a trick that will get my album to go Platinum and Gold throughout the world, let me know.

                        		 Eh, White Stripes is mediocre at best. Hardest Button to Button was cool but I couldn't be bothered with the rest of their repertoire. Like it or not, they were mostly hype.

                        And that live performance of Seven Nation Army at the MTV Awards sucked.
