Awesome work of brilliance that combines adventure/fantasy/romance together in one dark adult animated epic from the genius of Hayao Miyazaki. Loved it since i was 17 when i saw it in it's november 99 US release and loved it.

Incredible. I remember seeing it on Toonami when they had this Month of Miyazaki. I love it. I want to see it again, but I don't know when. Ever since watching the Month of Miyazaki, I've loved Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky.

Did you think the english dubbing was good? This movie predated Cameron's Avatar since they are kind of the same even with the eco-saving themes except that Avatar was written in 1993. Some shots in that movie were influenced by this masterpiece.

I agree with Pinface. Miyazaki makes beautiful, erotic work that I love.

I really liked watching Miyazaki films, Princess Mononoke was rather deep compared to the other Miyazaki films in my opinion.
