For me, it's the first "House Of The Dead" game. It came out when I was nine. I still can't believe that despite my having nightmares a lot when I was that age, I still played it. I played it with another kid, and we beat it. What's the scariest video game you've ever played?

Ghouls 'n' Ghosts. I always watched my brother play that game when we were little. I'd have my heart racing and eyes wide when he fought Loki (Satan) at the last level. He still gives me the creeps...

Siren. Never play that game in a dark room by yourself, unless you don't want to sleep for weeks then it's okay.

There is a battle between two wolves inside us all.

One is evil and the other one is good. Which wolf will win? The one you feed the most.

Back when it first came out, QUAKE would get to me if i was playing it late at night and alone. I remember those shamblers being especially scary because sometimes they would follow you if you ran away. You think resident evil is bad with no ammo, trying playing QUAKE without it!

There is only one game as a kid that scared the crap out of me. It isn't Doom, Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil or anything like that.
                      No.
The only game that ever gave me nightmares was the "Redeads" from "Zelda Ocarina of Time". What the hell was up with those things?! Seriously? I had to stop playing the game for four months because I couldn't sleep. lol

I know what you mean, that game gave me nightmares. It took me about a month to solve all the puzzles and win the game, then I sold it on ebay for a dollar just to get rid of it.

I think it was Nightmare on Elm Street for the NES. Seeing Freddy's head with spider legs really freaked me out for quite a long time.

I'm with Bishop on this one.

Resident Evil 1 when the Doberman's jump through the windows in the hall it scares the SHIT out of you almost everytime!

The timing on that is pretty much flawless. Those games were REALLY creepy, the first 2, there was nothing like them before.

Silent Hill 4: the Room. Where Elieen's head is 3Xs bigger and her eyes are shakey and follow you in that room. I couldn't play the game for 3 days.

What scared me was the spiders on the ceiling when you are in the guardhouse. That was creepy.

I could time when the dogs would come through the windows so after finding that out, it was nothing.

Condemned for Xbox 360. It was a launch title but when I get the urge to pee myself, I pop that in to play.

You may laugh but I'd play Friday the 13th at 2 am and be tired and jump when Jason would pop out.
