Yeah, there was a time I went to see a Disney movie expecting something great, those days are long gone. Hell the only reason I went to Tron is because the first one was decent and I had a free ticket so I figured it wouldn't be bad to take the risk and I was actually pleasantly surprised the movie didn't totally suck and I actually liked the characters. Still, I didn't walk out with that same feeling about a movie like I did Aladdin or Lion King, of course I was a kid when those came out but there was a quality to them that I'm sure if they were released brand new now I'd have had the same feeling or maybe even a deeper appreciation for. Whatever it was those old movies had they're missing and I don't see them returning any time soon unless the company gets somebody new at the top who is concerned with going back and figuring out what made the classics so good and trying to recreate that rather than just putting any garbage out there to make a quick buck off today's teens.
