Mark Kistler's Imagination Station! That was it!

I just Googled "art guy "yeaaah" just to see what I would get, and the first link was something about Office Space. "Space" triggered something in me and I happened to remember the name of the show.

Bob Ross was good, but so was the guy who was also on painting.

I forget his name, but he was this louder, Germanic-sounding guy :)

The guy used to yell and bark his instructions, he sounded like he was some German Sergeant in World War II :)

"UND NOW YOU VILL PAINT ZE COTTAGE! SCHNELL! SCHNELL!! VE DO NOT HAVE ALL DAY, PAINT ZE COTTAGE NOOOWWW!!!!!!"

Patton Oswalt had a great bit about Bob Ross and also this guy, on his stand-up CD, Feelin' Kinda Patton. It's awesome.

I used to watch this guy after all my kiddie shows went off--he was stark-raving calm, I loved it.

"Joy of Painting" still plays here in Montreal every saturday at 2pm. I love watching it although Bob had this nicredibly relaxing voice. I tend to fall asleep!

                "Bring it to ink consistency"
                "The illusion of distance"
                "Follow the angles"
                "Here's your bravery test!"
"Add a little touch of paint thinner"

...so many things he said over and over... but still, we love him :)

Man, I loved that show! Not only was it just cool to watch him completely effortlessly paint those amazing things, his voice was just perfect to lull me into a nice little after-school nap so I'd be nice and ready to go out and drink in high school!

What on earth will be the point of the game? Kill squirrels by throwing oval brushes at them?

I think it's a learn to paint game, using the DS touch screen, PC mouse, and Revolution's weird remote-control-shaped- control pad

It would've been funny if Bob Ross showed up for an episode with some braids. He'd have more hangtime than some women I know.

Only a little bit. *shrugs* It didnt appeal to me much. I could have probably aced a painting class now if I paid so much attention to that little shady tree being painted on!

And a Bob Ross video game?? Why use a painting program on that when youve got a lot of painting programs on the net to handle?

If you guys didn't know Mario Paint was a fun game back for the NES and really popular. This game might go will.

I still play Mario Paint to this day. BTW, it's on the Super NES.
