Oh my GOD. DON'T even get me started on how much I love 'Rocky'. Though I think the only ones worth watching are 1 and 2.
The original was filmed like six blocks from my house. : D

Thats awesome. I keep trying to get friends to watch the first 2. But they start whining and complaining. Saying that they don't like boxing movies, ect. And I pretend to strangle them.

Thankfully he came out with Rocky Balboa and redeemed himself, but unfortunately 5 is still considered part of the series.

Rocky 5 was much better with the original ending. Rocky dies. He collapses outside of the gym. When the camera pans up in the theatrical version, thats the edit. The studio didn't want it to end like that. But I think it would have made for a better ending.

While I definitely agree that the ending would have been better if he had died, my main problem is with Tommy Morrison! The dude was terrible. It just didn't feel like a Rocky movie.

I thought Rocky V was a good movie. Yes it was a much different movie than the others, but it was still good. I agree Morrison terrible, but he was a boxer, not an actor.

Stallone has stated that he wished he had never done Rocky V. I found that a little surprising being his son Sage played a major part in it.

Rocky Balboa was way too depressing for me. I didn't like that Adrian died. I also didn't like how all the brain injuries he had in Rocky V just disappeared.

I have never seen so many positive/semi positive comments about Rocky 5. I am shocked. The fact that Stallone himself hates the movies says a lot about it if you ask me.

For the record, I've always thought his opinion was heavily influenced by the critical reaction of the movie.

If critical reaction influenced his opinions on his movies, he probably would only have been proud of the original Rocky. LOL

I actually enjoyed the 1981 version, so with some modern day sprucing up and a super over-hyped Kracken scene that promised to be badass as all fuck, I had high expectations.

Needless to say, they were savagely beaten with a sledgehammer. Damn damn DAMN that lame ass assfest of a movie...

IN 100% AGREEMENT HERE....I too, had very high hopes for the "Clash of the Titans" remake (as I grew up watching the original & loved it) but couldn't have possibly been more disappointed.

To add insult to injury, since the film was a box-office success....they are actually making a sequel *facepalm*.

It was better when it was Single White Female. And had Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
