Pat Henzy 4 years 19 days ago Posts: 186	Yesterday Gamestop listed a "Dreamcast Collection" for a few hours, then later took it down. If this is going to be anything like Sonics Ultimate Genesis collection I will be extremely happy. I kinda got burned on that one though as I had allready downloaded Sonic 1, 2, 3, Knuckles, Streets of Rage, and Golden Axe. I have allready downloaded Soul Caliber and Sonic Adventure and was very excited for Crazy Taxi, but now I won't be downloading it. The collection was listed for $29.99 and I believe it said quarter 1 2011. There are quite a few sites that reported on it yesterday!

You talking about the Sonic Gems Collection? They were both released as individual games on the GameCube, with some slight differences from the originals I believe. One of them is "Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut", and the other is "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle".

I think it should include both Sonic Adventure games but this time, they'd actually be good because if it's a Dreamcast Collection, it should just be the DC versions and not a crappy port. And other Dreamcast games they can include: Shenmue (Hopefully with better controls) Record of Lodoss War Soul Calibur Toy Commander Skies of Arcadia Space Channel 5 Crazy Taxi 1 & 2 Jet Grind Radio Virtua Tennis Tennis 2K2 Power Stone 1 & 2 Samba De Amigo Ecco the Dolphin Ikaruga Seaman

Oldschoolgamer83 4 years 18 days ago Posts: 1360	I wish the Dreamcast could've lasted longer than it did, in just 2 1/2 years on the market it did have quite an awesome library. Sonic Adventure 1, Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, NFL 2K, NHL 2K, NBA 2K1, Ready 2 Rumble, Virtua Tennis, Shenmue, Virtua Fighter 3, Skies of Arcadia, World Series Baseball 2K1, San Francisco Rush, plus a fair amount of quality games I know I'm missing. Hopefully a good number of those will be on this collection.

Most of the games are out already on XBLA: -> Sonic Adventure... horrible conversion, probably not the DC version that it claims to be. -> Crazy Taxi... probably not the DC version if it doesn't have Offspring music -> Space Channel 5. -> SEGA Bass Fishing... 3 of the 4 are already out on XBLA. Why buy them if you've already got them on the X-Box? Stupid. I thought it was first of all going to be a bigger collection. Secondly, going to be more original games, not ones already released. Highly disappointed, even more-so if they are straight ports of these piss-poor ports from last year!
