For me this song is like a musical entrance to another dimension, and after all of these years it's my opinion that this is still a song in search of a video capable of full expression for the ideas it represents. As a result, I've linked to a fan tribute version video. But this is still an awesome song that may become someting more in the future. But it pains me to recall that the 80's started with a great tragic event, the December murder of John Lennon in New York City. It was a shock to the music world, and I think it had a lasting impact on artists worldwide. The 80's became one of the landmark musical decades - but ohh lordy, what a way to start!
