Wind Adept 4 years 1 month ago Posts: 1138 Account Disabled	The reason I am so fascinated with this decade is because of the unique styles of music, and the fact that the synthesizer had suddenly moved from being used more for rythm to being one of the key instruments used in most of the songs in this era. What songs are the greatest though? It woulds be hard to choose just one, but when I think 80's I usually think of the synth driven songs like this great song by Peter Godwin, Images of Heaven http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdHOyrS72jg the lyrics are about pornography, and probably his most well known song

Wind Adept 4 years 1 month ago Posts: 1138 Account Disabled	Another song I really like from the '80's is Sunglasses at night by Corey Hart, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_HlTGzkKeE this fills me with nostalgia even though I was born at the end of the 80's, everytime I hear this song I remember those cristmas eves as a kid. Most of us would be in the basement, I remember specifically the year my older brother got a teenage mutant ninja turtles wheelie , and we would talke turns riding it around in the basement, you see we would go from where the stairs were to the end of the basement where the water heater, furnace, etc was, looking at it as a kid, it reminded me of something out of an 80's science fiction movie, it was spooky in a cool way.

guineapig64 4 years 1 month ago Posts: 593 Account Disabled	I am a HUGE fan of 80's music. It's so hard for me to decide which song was the best in the 80's since there are so many great songs from that era. One of the songs I like from the 80's is called "You Spin Me Round" by Dead Or Alive.
