With DVD releases you get to see the shows raw without any popular lead ins or headline shows after and you see them for what they are. Many a time they get completely exposed for what they were; tedious filler I watched to get to my favorite shows. The following "there's no Easter Bunny" moments would describe seeing the following shows now:

    Perfect Strangers
    Head of the Class
    Who's the Boss
The Facts of Life (I still love Nancy McKeon with all my heart but god that show is unwatchable now.)
    Step By Step

    There's no Easter Bunny.

      Zoobileezoo... *hangs head in shame*

Pretty much all of the live action sitcoms

It does "suck" per se, but GI Joe isn't as great as I remember it.

I'm sure there are plenty more, I just cant think of them. Im a huge retrojunkie. If it was made in or around my childhood, I'll probably still enjoy it. Especially cartoons..... I just had another one, but I lost it.

I never really thought that Captain Planet was all that great when I was a kid, but it wasn't terrible to me, so I can still enjoy the nostalgia. Speakin of good ol CP, google Don Cheatle(sp?) as Captain Planet. Fricken genius

I used to love old Disney films back when I was a kid;I used to have a whole ton of tapes. I am more of a Pixar guy now though.

I'm still all about the Disney classics. And I'm not just talkin about the feature films.

The Disney channel will play clips of older Disney cartoons, but they've butchered them. They've re-dubbed all the voices and sound effects. And it pisses me off. Completely unnecessary.

Thought of another one to add to my list.

The Super Mario Bros Super Show.

I don't remember watching too many episodes as a kid, but a few. I found, as I mentioned in the "What was the last DVD you bought and why" thread, I found a used DVD set of volume 1 for fairly cheap and bought. It's honestly pretty horrible of a show. Sadly I got my nephew into it and he ALWAYS wants to watch it.
Oh I watched that show tons. Every damn day. I saw it on Netflix a couple of weeks ago and it is just completely embarrassing now. One good thing about it is Lou Albano's voice...way better than that stupid "itsa me Mario" voice they are using in the games now. But terrible stories, and that theme song? lmao

Now Heathcliff, I still really like the theme song. But the stories are dumb as heck! And Heathcliff's laugh is annoying. It would be fine if he just chuckled once but he does it three or four times, every time.

Inspector Gadget is very bad too. I didnt watch it much when I was a kid because it was on cable and we didn't have cable. So I only got to see it once in a while, at a friend's house, and thought it was the coolest. Now...nope.

I want to look at Danger Mouse again but I'm afraid it will be much the same.

Sometimes I wonder what the people making all this crap were thinking. Were they having fun? Did they care at all, did it pay well, did they think the stories were actually good?

80's Ninja Turtles: what's weird is the things I liked about it are the the things I find lame.

                                  Super Mario Bros. Supershow...

The Garbage Pail Kids Cartoon: I have to mention this because even though it never aired here I know I would have loved it in '87 just not so much now.
