Hows excited for the new Splatterhouse game? It was a horror franchise in the 90's with three great games under its belt. And the new one looks to be awesome. What do u think?

there were three of them? I only recall the ads in comic books for Splatter house on Turbografx 16. That was as close as I came to buying one because the ads looked so cool.

I somewhat remember enjoying playing the old one (I think it was the first) at my friends house. I honestly found the remake interesting when I first heard about it... back in '06. If it ever comes out I may just give it a try.

i'm actually going to wait and check out some reviews for it first. with all of these companies taking over franchises, you never know if it could end up being a good game or not

Loved the game and played them to death. Part 3 was a bit different than the first two. Never did get to beat the first game though. I'm looking forward to this game. I hear it will have the arcade version of the first game and both genesis version included as well.

It looks like its going to use something resembling God of War, but i'll still play it. This is based on the first one right?

I'm wondering how good the back ground music will be? I like the music for all three games and didn't hear any great music from the clips I've seen so far.

I still have a sealed copy for XBox 360. I'll give the new version a try sometime but I'm more excited for Splatterhouse 1-3 that you can unlock.

I'm willing to give it a try, especially since it has all three of the original games.

the reboot looks pretty bad, though i have not played it. i have splatterhouse (tg-16 port) on wii virtual console and 2 and 3 on genesis, luckily. if i could get the newer game extremely cheap i'd try it, though my expectations are very low. i feel like the core gameplay would be lost and it would be generic, but who knows. other 2d-3d evolutions have worked, though if a game started in 2d, i'll always favor the 2d, no matter how good the 3d may be.
