Not my favourite, but, Marko's Magic Football was pretty awesome. If you've not heard of it, look it up!

Altered Beast was great, along with Golden Axe and Contra: Hard Corps as mentioned by DarthMunk and FhistleB.

              Lost Vikings was also fun..

Finally! Someone else who didn't mind Hyperstone Heist! Seriously, I loved that game and had tons of fun with it. I could careless if it was a "Turtles in Time ripoff", as some have referred to it as. Bottom line, it was fun. I treat both as two separate games anyway.

Oh, smack, I remeber that. Wasn't it alot like Mario Brothers, but Chad had the power of fire tears. And fought off the evil Raoul the ice master.

Thats it, Raoul appeared in a different form after each zone, It took me ages to defeat him in the tree snake form until I found out about the apples

Right on! The hardest level was like level 6 when Raoul took the form of a oil toad. I remember spending hours trying to get past that level until I found the water spike.

I vaguely remember that. It was a port of an arcade game. I remember the arcade version had vertical and horizontal levels and the Genesis version didn't.

Yeah my cousin played the arcade version. Each boss had a secret way to beat him, if you got it they became much easier, plus the hellfire powerup helped!

The port didn't have the hellfire powerup. That was the best power on the arcade version.

                                    Never played the arcade version.

Did the arcade version have the quick pass free shooter mode?

I think it had something like it, but you had to enter the rotating code in the proper sequence, so I never fooled with it.
