I still have my original Commodore 64 :)
Ghostbusters for C64 was the greatest game in the world as a kid.

        You mean Gateway to Apshai?

I so wish I didn't have to leave mine behind in a move...

                  Good day all,

This is my first time posting in here. I've been reading the articles for a while now, without even realising that this community existed :D

                  I glad that found it.

I want to share something that happened to me last year.
Every weekends during the summers, my friend and I wake up at 6 Am and we start hunting for Yard sales. We've been doing it for almost 9 years now.

To make a LOoooooong story short. Last year, we found a boxed commodore 64 in a yard sale. The guy was asking $5 for it. No need to tell you that we bought it.
We were loading the game into my friend's car when the seller started yelling at us from his front yard. We truned back to look at him, only to see him run in the house. His wife then told us that we went inside to get something related to the computer we just bought.
The guy came out of the house with a big brown box. He approached the car and said: "I just realised that I had these games, would you also like them?"
My friend and I peeked at the inside of the box, and were shocked to see that it was fully loaded with boxed commodore games, from Maniac Mansion to Zak MacKracken (Spelling?)

It stayed the best deal of that summer! It fills my heart with joy just to think about it.

Anyway, just thought I'd share this swee Commodore moment with you guys.

                  Best regards,
                  Andre

We had C64 when I was a kid. I remember FONDLY p;laying: Sea Search, Jumpman & Jumpman Junior, Mission Impossible, Star Wars, Barbie-2 cool.... I've got the C 64 all in one joystick, but it doesn't have Jumpman on it with the 3 levels on it dammit!!
                    Man I miss that computer!!!

ah the memories of my 64. I taught myself how to play cribbage and played countless hours Robot Rascals and Space Taxi while listening to my headphones and singing along to show tunes. I kinda miss Space Taxi....and if they ever decide to bring it back, I'd love a copy.
