    Woooboy, where do I start with this? Its a masterpiece of crap. That should sum it up, but it doesn't. I honestly think that Tommy Wiseau (Director/writer/producer/star) intended it to be serious. But it's so bad, that its funny. Funny in a 'ha-ha' way, also in a painful way. You have to laugh, so you don't feel the pain. The guys at RiffTrax did a mocking parody track. I've seen clips, and it helps. It really does. My only warning is: Watch at your own risk. It may be the longest 99 minutes of your life.

      Is it the next Plan 9 from Outer Space?

          i have yet to see the movie i've just seen several reviews about it. I absolutely love terrible movies especially ones that are embarrassingly bad, Wiseau really has no excuse he had plenty of money just no source of talent or integrity

            Well the film did give us this:
            http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/547307

            Consider it as being the greatest game based on a movie-that it actually is better than the movie it is based on. It was co-created by Tom Fulp who also is behind such hits as Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid.

              If you see it, make a party of it. Get drunk off your ass watching it...I kinda wish I had...

                    The Room is a painfully awful movie. I never would have been able to finish watching it if it weren't for the Rifftrax commentary.

                    Patton Oswalt made a Room parody trailer that's pretty good;

                      I saw that. And I made it through without the commentary. And without booze. Not sure how.

                        I managed to watch the Room sober thanks to Rifftrax but I was regretting not getting drunk beforehand the entire time.

                          Ah yes, the timeless classic known simply as "The Room."

                          I heard the rumors, I heard the horror tales, but I thought "Man, I can take this. Can it really be THAT bad? I'm sure it's just people overreacting. Oh hey look, Adult Swim is airing it! Now I can see it for myself!"

                          Was I ever in for it...

                          I don't know if I was laughing because it was that mindboggling bad or if I was just trying to find someway to save the sanity that movie was draining away from me. I'm convinced Tommy Wiseau must be some magical warlock or something; no normal human being could conjure up something THAT mindblowing horrendous that you actually start getting faint enjoyment for it.

                          It is definitely a surreal experience. One of those you have to see to believe movies.

                            You watched it edited. You need to see it uncensored. Tommy Wiseau has a body made of silly putty. He's the worst in-shape/out-of-shape guy ever.

                              I'd have to go Rocky IV and scale a mountain to prepare myself for it if it's somehow WORSE uncensored.

                                    I never heard of it until I saw The Nostalgic Critic review it. I decided to watch. I really busted a gut just laughing at the horrible acting. Me and my friends did a drinking game where we drank a shot of tequila everytime he says "huh" and "oh hi".
