every time a family won on double dare, they would get:
    a. a new station wagon/minivan
    b. a pair a British Knights (BK) shoes for the whole family
    c. an awesome computer system
    d. a trip to space camp

then in the 90's there was that spin-off with Marc Summers called "what would you do?" which was totally awesome. I used to love the hidden talent contest.

"Tell 'em what they won, Harvey!"

Mostly you waited through all the stupid trivia until someone said, "we'll take the physical challenge".

And then of course, the big long obstacle course at the end, which always looked so easy at home:D
"Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the good deeds along with the ill, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest...is silence."

I would definitely want the super cool British Knights because your nobody with some rad Bks!

I wonder if the Station Wagon came with the cheesey 80s fake wood paneling on the outside?

remember when Marc Summers did the Halloween special the Magical Mystery Tour that was cool. I watched it every Halloween that it came on. He hosts some show on food network now.
I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much... yummier

those phsycal challenges always looked easy and especially that long obstical course at the end. Im surprised that more people were never able to finish it.

the only one that i think would of been hard is the big nose where you have to find the flag. people would just get stuck on that and then BEEPPP!!! times up!!!

Its too bad about what happened to Marc Summers.
You'd think someone that did a children's show would know to lay off da' smack.

He had a brief drug problem, if memory serves. He's OCD (obessive compulsive disorder), and ended up getting into some rather nasty stuff. He kicked it pretty quickly though.

Marc Summers hosts 'Unwrapped' now in The Food Network. It's actually a pretty good show.

It always seemed funny to me that a man with OCD would host Double Dare. The mess was probably always tearing him apart on the inside.

I remember the Halloween special he did. Not much of it though, I just remember some kids, and a piano that played by itself. oh well.

Double Dare was great! Buuuuuuuut... not nearly as fun as FINDERS KEEPERS.

They used to run through the houses unlocking things to find things.... oh man... hours and hours of entertainment...

                                    yeah that was awesome.

remember when the disney channel showed no commercials? and they had instead these informercials between shows for like 5 minutes, where that guy dave from Dave's World would talk about why you should order the Disney channel for your kids.

I always wanted to go onto DoubleDare. In the summer time, I had an aunt who would make up messy games for us to play like DoubleDare. Haha I used to watch DoubleDare the right after, Charles in Charge would come on.
