One of my favorite movies since i was 13! this is probably my fave Hughes film besides Ferris Bueller.

Candy and Martin were gold together, gotta love the funny stuff like the homoerotic pillow sequence which makes me laugh to this day to all the way to becoming skeletons in the car in a vision as Martin saw Candy as Satan.

      That was a good movie.

funny you post about it today, I was watching a family guy episode that referenced it a few times last night.

Anyone thinks the pillow scene is still funny?

That's a classic but for me the best part is Steve Martin's argument with the car rental agent played by Edie McClurg:

Planes and Trains and Automobiles is my favorite John Hughes movie and one of my favorite comedy movies.

I thought the movie was pretty funny and entertaining, I think it actually became good when you realize John Candy was making everything up
