does anyone remember those ninja turtle ice cream bars that were a turtle head (complete with bandana) and had a gumball for a nose i believe (just like the aforementioned donkey kong bars)?

i actually just had one of those about a week ago. i couldnt believe the ice cream truck at the beach was still selling them.

and it was just as good as i remembered it :D

Hidden Treasures was a HORRIBLE cereal, however I really would like some for some odd reason.

I remember that I hated the ones with the grape filling.

And my cousin asked me If I remembered 7 up gold? I think that was the name of it.

orbitz? it's clear and has little colored balls floating like caviar and they're all squishy. that stuff was gross!

That doesn't sound quite right. The balls were white in all the drinks, but would absorb the food dye within about a week of being on the shelves. And the drinks weren't clear. Or maybe that is it exactly, and I'm remembering different flavors than you are. :?
Mini pop tarts! I could have lived off those. But the stores stopped carrying them.
I miss the Wendy's salad bar.

Edit: Just did a search for Orbitz, and after staring at the pictures for a while, it still doesn't quite seem to be what I remember. But that seems to be the only drink like that. I guess I was remembering bits and pieces from two different drinks.

I know what drink you're talking about, and I can't think of the name. Dammit. I had some, too. I think it might have been Japanese. Maybe some sort of bubble tea? Aw. Now it's gonna bug me....

 Did a search. There was indeed a drink called bubble tea. In fact, still is. Looks like I remembered both, and smashed them together in my head.
According to the websites, it originated in Taiwan. It's also known as:
Boba drink, pearl tea drink, boba ice tea, pearl ice tea, tapioca ball drink, pearl milk drink, black pearl tea
I think that just about covers any way you could possibly remember it.

I remember Ecto Coolers...they were good if my memory serves me.

They had real fruit roll ups and the "real" fruit roll ups, what I like to call organic ones made of real pressed fruit, my friends mom who was a health nut bought them.

Jolt was like liquid crack..."twice the caffeine" ur just asking for an heart attack.

I dont see Golden Crisp anymore..with sugar bear "Can't get enopugh of that golden crisp" that bear was the pimp of all bears...lol 8)

Does anybody remember M&Ms before the blue ones were introduced? There were two shades of Brown: Dark brown and a tannish brown If I remember correctly.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pies - Fresh from the sewer to you! My brother and I used to make fun of that commercial, like if there was something ELSE instead of the green filling. :P

I remember Undercover Bears, but I never tried them since I'm not too fond of Oatmeal altogether.

Come to think of it, does anybody remember Pizzerias? They were (I belleive) from Keebler. They were like Doritos, but they tasted like Pizza.

I miss Clearly Canadian. I LOVE LOVE LOVED the Peach Flavored ones mostly.

...I also remember Twinkies! Mmm.... The filling, so carcinogenic, but delicious!

Remember when Chex was a cereal, long before it became a snack mix?

I love New York Seltzer Water. Black cherry was my favorate, and then the lemon lime. I associate that stuff with the songs "The Final Countdown" and "Pop Goes the World". I know that's odd but hey, don't get me started on cereals. "Krispy Kritters." Ha cha cha cha INDUBEDLEY DELICIOUS!

New York Seltzer was great. I loved the Root Beer. They seriously need to start making that stuff in the glass bottle again.

Baka: The other flavor of Twix was Fudge. I liked Cookies & Cream and Peanut Butter best. They dropped all the flavors except the old Caramel for a while, but they brought back peanut butter.

I miss Surge. And clear colas.

Jolt is still around in stores around here. They don't just have cola anymore -- there's also grape, orange, citrus, cherry cola, and two or three energy drinks (not soda).

I also miss gum shaped like stuff -- hot dogs (I can find those around Halloween), bologna, burgers, etc. I see them sometimes on road trips, but never locally. I like stuff that's shaped like other stuff.

                          Pizzerias chips. Those were good.

Pac-Man cereal was great. My grandma always used to buy it for me. It was basically Kix with marshmallows, right? The balls were supposed to be the pellets Pac-Man would eat.

I refuse to eat blue M&Ms. I remember when they brought back the red ones. The old red dye caused cancer or something, right? So they stopped making red ones, but later on they brought them back. Remember a couple years after they had the first contest to vote for the new color M&M (when blue won) they had another vote, and purple won? What happened to those? I never see purple ones anymore, except in those big machines in candy stores where they have all sorts of unnatural M&M colors.

Gum with liquid in the middle: greatness.

Pizzarias came back for a while, I remember seeing them at my grocery story within the past couple years. Came back right when Tato Skins did. Guess they must not have sold well or something. Though when looking I found a neat page of all kinds of old snacks and foods that are no longer in production....

it feels good to know that i started a thread that now has over 70 posts. you guys are awesome.

and here's what i found out yesterday (while i was supposed to be working):

well first of all my mom keeps telling me, "i saw ice cream cones cereal in super wal-mart a while back, i swear." but every time i go to wal-mart, i can't find it. so i researched, and what happened was they brought it back a couple of years ago in a new chocolate chip flavor (the original from the '80s came in chocolate or vanilla) and it only lasted a for a short while, as part of a celebration of general mills' 100th anniversary or something.

so that sucks, i will probably never taste ice cream cones cereal again. and i even used to have a white watch with an ice cream cone on it, that my mom ordered from the back of the box. (my brother got a brown one)

I remember LOVING Orbitz, that stuff was weird but tasted so good. Too bad they stopped production, I guess people get creeped out by tiny floating gelatin balls.
