ok i thought id start a list of old food that is discontinued....

    cereal:
    ice cream cones
cinnamon mini buns (90s i think)
    apple cinnamon cheerios
    urkel-o's (after steve urkel)
    pop-tart crunch
    golden smore's grahams

    chips:
cheetos cheesy paws or something? (they were in the shape of tiger paws)
and these chips called O'boises (delicous)
and other chips called "Tater Skins" or something (not the TGIFridays brand)

and some cookies from keebler called "sweet spots" where there were 4 sugar cookies in an individually wrapped package, and they had a big ass hershey kiss right in the middle.

oh and there was this oatmeal with little gummy bear-like characters in it, but the characters were actually like detectives, criminals, whatever. I can actually taste it if i think hard enough.

    drinks:
New york seltzer (peach was good)
Chocolate brownie drink (had a little elf on the label)
    surge
    crystal pepsi
josta (made by pepsi, weird red color with a panther on the bottle)
hi-c box drinks...ecto cooler flavor (bright green color, named after ghostbusters)

    candy bar:
betcha' life candy bar (chocolate w/peanut butter filling...never saw them in stores, just sold them for school fund raiser once. very good)
    peanut butter snickers

ok so that's all i can think of right now...please add to my list if you think of anything!

ok so not all of these things are 80's, but still retro i guess.

I used to love Ice cream cones cereal

The company that made Tater Skins is the same one who makes the TGI Fridays potato skins chips.

Does anybody rember a clear Iced Tea..... It was out around the same time as Crystal Pepsi. I had some in New York, but I never found it out of that area. It came in glas bottles, and was the best tasting iced tea I ever had.... except it had no color to it at all, it was clear! I think it was made by a company named Best Health.

They still make Tater Skins, I just bought a bag last week. I think that surge may still be in production but is about to find itself on the chopping block.

I used to love that slimer Ecto cooler from Hi-C

I wish that Keebler still made Krunch Twists
I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much... yummier

There used to be a smurfberry cereal. Also they used to have frakenberry, countchocula and a third one that was ghosts. Every once in a while they will release these during haloween, but they used to have them all year round.

I can still find CountChocula in Texas (and I still eat it) But I don't see the other two anymore.

O'boises freakin' ruled. I wonder if they still make them. I'll have to be on the lookout.

Boo Berry, Frankenberry, and Count Chocula where and still are the best cereals ever. I don't mean to go off topic but I had to mention it. I think I've drinken the Ecto flavored Hi-C. Remember fruit roll-ups? What about those fruit snacks that tasted like soda. There was a comercial where a kid gets a soda out of a vending machine and they turn into little bottle shapes and taste like soda. Who remembers that?

yeah actually count chocula, booberry, and frankenberry are all still available where i live, all year round.

i haven't seen oboise's in at least 12 years, and the soda candy sounds familiar.

Those cinnamon mini buns were soooo good. The artistry that went into creating those little cinnamon buns amazes me. I also liked how the crystal pepsi commercial played Van Halen's "Right Now."

I can remember getting my parents to buy any food with Ninja Turtles on it. Stuff like mini pizzas, chicken soup, pasta etc. However, some of them didn't taste all that great.

Or, does anyone remember Hidden Treasures? Great cereal!

Jolt tastes exactly like Pepsi/Coke, only with more caffeine.

I remember a lot of this stuff, like Count Chocula and that pop bottle candy. I never really liked it too much because too many of them tasted like root beer, which I highly dislike, although the orange and pink ones were okay.

I certainly do remember those cinnamon mini buns and those Hi-c box drinks...Smiley(sp?) from Ghostbusters was on a couple of those and he said some funny thing that I dunno now what it was.

Not around where I live (Texas). It tasted like squirt except w/ more sugar and caffeine. I saw it last when I was 8th grade. When I got into my first year in high school, those sodas were nowhere to be found. Sad too, because I actually liked them.

Some girl in my first grade class always ate cheetos paws, those remind me of her. I loved sweet spots I was so sad when those were discontinued. I been buggung my mom for years to make the homemade verson of those cookies, but she never will. I loved under cover bears that was on of the best oatmeals I ever had. My older cousin was also a big fan of that food. I loved those soda flavored fruit snacks. :D

Ok does anybody remember Hidden Treasures? It was cereal and it had a robot on the box and it tasted horrible. They had 1 of 3 fillings grape, strawberry, or orange. I think they came out in the mid 90s.

They still sell Count Chocula, Frankenberry & booberry Where I live in Kansas. The gummy soda candy was called Cola Bottle fruit Snacks.

Another thing I used to love from the 90's was the Pizza Hut Doritos Pizza Supreme and Taco grande flavors, those were some good munchies! Then there was the Good Humor Fat frog ice cream bar or neon oreo that in true 80's fashion came with hot Pink, florescent blue, green and orange filling. MMMM dayglo. Slush puppy!!! Also Nintendo cereal with one side mario and the other side zelda.

Oh jeez anyone here remember the multiflavors of TWIX? The only others i can remember are cookies and creme Twix and Peanut Butter!! and as for franken berry and Boo berry, i still find them on occasion, but in very limited supply and not for long, like maybe a couple of days or so. But, if you live in toledo Ohio, where there is a general mills plant, you can find them ALL THE FREAKIN TIME, lol.

Remember the oreo-os? Those are kinda' old. I think 97 or so, Im not exactly sure. They were great though. Jolt was pretty good if you were looking for that good sugar high for the day. Okay, now on to the fruit roll-ups. They had shapes you could peel out which I never did. They came in a large variety of flavors and colors. It was the best.

speaking of sports drinks, there was one called "first aid" which was like gatorade, but it came in a bottle similar to the one that comes attached to mountain bikes. weird. im sure nobody knows what i'm talking about.

fruit roll ups are still around in virginia.
some people say jolt is still around, but i haven't seen it in years. and surge i haven't seen since middle school, which was about 9 years ago.

and actually there was all this hype around surge having "so much caffeine" and all this, but i read a report online that showed all the amounts of caffeine for different sodas, and surge was like 3rd in line. mountain dew still has the most, and coffee/tea still has more than any soda. of course this was before drinks like red bull came out though. so i dont know.
